In the second part of our Intro to CS5.5 workshop, I talk with one of the most widely recognized dealers in the NLE business, Gary Bettan of Videoguys, to get his perspective on Adobe Creative Suite from a vendor’s point of view. We discuss the history of his company and outline some of the buyer’s guides and other resources available at the Videoguys web site, such as their system configurator and their suggested do-it-yourself builds for a PC-based editing system. We also discuss some of the popular hardware and software peripherals for CS5.5, and a variety of other topics (run time: 16 minutes).
