Solid Camera

Solid Camera’s Carlos Acosta demos his Odyssey7Q & FS700 brackets at NAB2014.

Here are the product descriptions mentioned in this interview:
The Ultimate Odyssey 7Q from Solid Camera is a modular approach that can used on any camera system, either with one of our ImagePosition kits or with only a 15mm LWS iris rod for the bare mininum cost to entry.
The Great News doesn’t stop there. Because the nature of the 7Q doesn’t always lend itself to on-camera use, it was crucial that a flexible hand-held option, via hand grips or a neck strap, be a viable option to those looking for a wireless directors monitor or something used at lunch to review playback of your footage at the table.
You will be able to attach to a 5/8″ standard c-stand or light stand option. It’s purpose is very simple: keep it light, make it easy to reconfigure in seconds, and most importantly keep it tool-free to adjust its capability. Utilizing two edge pieces that bolster the 7Q on its sides coupled with a dovetailed backbone system, that can use 1 to 3 dovetails to mount a battery plate, wireless video receiver, etc. You can attach our genius ULTIMATE solution to our ImagePosition system by the way of a new cradle that is machined to attach to our legacy systems. Or, if you have a 90 degree 15mm LWS iris rod clamp you can attach the 7Q with a short 15mm rod.
